First meeting in HKTMC 2016. We kicked off with our resolution and new members induction!

Meeting Recap

We started the 2016 by having … a toastmasters regular meeting.
As the theme “Drive and Resolve” indicated, our member shown the passion and promise to work on our Toastmasters journey.

We have “P.I.E of the motherhood” from Julie. The teenager stories shared by her were both inspiring and funny. No wonder that she has won the best speaker of tonight.

While Mark is keeping his poetic speech writing, he show us how to be kind to our fellow in terms of ‘think, speak and act’. For Jean, the recap of ‘3 idiots’ movie really brought us back to the movie scene. I felt sad about her loss and wish her “All is well, all is well”.

Can you imagine how did Matthew briefly introduced all the meeting roles both on stage and ‘in the engine’? He was so effective in giving the audience an overview of all the roles and responsibility.

A part of the new year resolution, our Vice President Membership, both Calvin and Lawrence, led us a full session of New Member Induction. Hope that all of our members can remember our Toastmasters Promise.
