[Meeting: February 17, 2025] What a wonderful evening at our “Embracing Discomfort” meeting! Hearing everyone share their stories about stepping out of their comfort zones was truly inspiring.
Stephanie Fung kicked things off, sharing her love for hiking and a heartfelt reminder to reconnect with our passions. Chester Chan reminded us, “If you’re not moving forward, you’re drifting backwards,” emphasizing the need for continual growth.
We celebrated Irene Cheng’s first speech at HK Toastmasters—congrats, Irene! Her humorous anecdotes as a teacher brought smiles and laughter.
Ryan Li creatively brewed coffee live, using it as a metaphor for leadership, highlighting that different approaches yield various results.
Our Table Topics Master, Stephanie Lau, invited guests to share personal challenges with discomfort, enriching the evening with relatable stories.
